Hi my lovelies,
The Marker Pop Challenge (on Facebook) this month is rainbow.
I went for a colourful simple design, using copic markers to colour the beautiful anemone flowers by wplus9, layered over soft distress ink blending, some black distress ink splatters and a beautiful sentiment also by wplus9.
I am also entering this card into the following challenge:
The Flower Challenge – CAS
I wanted to pull out my gansai tambi paints and use a different colour palate than I would normally gravitate to. I gold heat embossed leaves from Simon Says Stamp Spring Leaves set. The sentiment is an older one but oh so lovely, by clearly besotted, gold embossed on vellum, backed with black card and covered with clear wink of stella.
This card is entered into the following challenges:
SSSflickrchallenge 83 – thankful
Addicted to Stamps and More– make your mark
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge – monochrome
Happy little stampers watercolour – optional twist gold
Winnie and Walter challenged us to send in a #craftie. I have been ill for a couple of days and trust me no one wants to see me without makeup (🙂) so here is my craft rooms selfie, see what they did there? #craftie
Here is my very messy desk and a sneak peek of my next card too.
My plan is to get a pegboard in the next few months and get as much as I can off the desk as I just share a portion of our small guest bedroom.
Apologies, hope your not overwhelmed with all the posts this week, there are just so many great challenges for world card making day that my mind is buzzing with ideas.
One of the winnie and walter WCMD challenges is by Kelly and we are challenged to make anything but a card. I loved her post and definitely plan to try and get in my loft to get my vinyl out but until then here is a cute baby gift tag. I think personalising packaging is such a quick but thoughtful addition. If your card is pretty, a matching gift tag takes it to another level.
I copic coloured the adorable bunny from the Winnie and Walter Welcome to the Family stamp set and attached it along with a sentiment from the same set to a tag die cut from Winnie and Walter Audrey Cutaways set. I used patterned paper for the front and back of the tag from Crate Paper Little you paper pad.
Hi everyone, thanks for visiting.
Today I have two cards for you. I used patterned paper from the same collection by American Crafts (dear lizzy lovely day), foam mounted onto side folding A6 (Uk size) card bases.
I ink smooshed rainbow colours of distress inks onto card and once dry I white heat embossed blooms from Winnie and Walters Addies garden on top. Next I fussy cut these out without a border. I assembled them some flat and one mounted with 3D foam for dimension. Some lawn Fawn twine and a charcoal grey sentiment by Mama Elephant and white nuvo drops complete these.
I am entering these cards into the following challenges:
WW WCMD variations with Shay
WW WCMD Smooshing Challenge with Lydia
WWWCMD Rainbow Challenge with Lea
