Hey, hope you’re all doing well today.

Here is another code for the current Seven hills craft challenge which is based on the following sketch.

And here is my card:

I used my clarity stencil brushes and a stencil by Winnie and Walter called Madison Gardens, a stamp and sentiment by my favourite things called catitude, and a stitched circle die by Simon Says Stamp.

Blending Altenew ink

Winnie and Walter

 Hi everyone

Inspiration for today’s card comes from a sketch for this months seven hills grass challenge. I used a bit of artistic license and exchanged the rectangle pieces for these lovely flourishes by my favourite things. For the background I used a beautiful stencil by Winnie and Walter called leaf effect and ink blended two of my new Altenew inks – blush and rouge.

I added some  links of grey with Copic 03 onto the stencilled leaves and then added a gorgeous flower from Winnie and Walter Addies Garden.  I used copic markers to add quick colouring and 3D foam mounted into.  To finish I used my Mini Misti and a lovely sentiment from Simon Says Stamp

CAS Congratulations card

Altenew

Hey everyone

At the moment AAA cards and Less is More have a joint challenge to create one layer card on a coloured card base. This kind of card is totally outside my comfort zone, I find it difficult not to fuss.  I hope a couple of sequins still make it one layer!

Freehand watercolour roses

Hey everyone,

Today’s card really pushed me outside of my comfort zone. I watercoloured some roses freehand in pretty pink tones using my gansai tambi paints.

Once dried I used the pretty scallop rectangle  by Winnie and Walter which really helped to smooth out some of the warping on the watercolour paper. The sentiment is one of my go to  happy anniversary sentiments by Mama Elephant.   I had an accident with my enamel dots (oops) so had to add loads to cover up and try and make the piece look balanced.

‘Lots of love’ loose watercolour flowers

Altenew

Morning everyone

I have had the watercolor wonders stamp set by Altenew for a while but not got round to using it much. Definite mistake on my part, I love it. Today’s card uses a loose watercolour technique.   I smooshed distress inks onto the stamps, lightly spritzed with water and then stamped onto my Bockingford 300gsm watercolour card stock.   I then used a damp paint brush to smooth out the colour and adding drops of distressing to further highlight some areas.  Once dry I added the sentiment with 3-D foam tape,  twine, sequins and some clear wink of Stella.  My panel is mounted with 3-D foam tape onto a uk A6side folding cardbase.

Rainbow clouds

Hey everyone

Todays card is to cheer you up.  It’s grey and drizzly here in N.E Scotland today (even tho its summer) and so I thought a rainbow of colours was appropriate.

I used two Simon Says Stamp Love makes a home cloud dies to create my own stencil and then used clarity brushes and distress inks to create my background.

I trimmed it down and added to a minty cardbase. I stamped the SSS Happy Days kite with distress inks again in a rainbow assortment and fussy cut it out.  I then adhered everything together with some foam tape and a dash of clear wink of Stella.

I just love that soft background!
