Addicted to CAS Challenge 127: Music

Hi everyone The current addicted to CAS Challenge is Music. I really struggled with this as I don’t have any music related stamps or dies, but then I saw this fun bear by Rosies studio, and he really looks like he’s dancing to me. Any suggestions on what song he’s dancing to? I embossed there with Simon Says Stamp Rose copper embossing powder, coloured with copics and printed the sentiment on my printer – this is a quote I wish to apply myself. I am also entering this card into the following challenges:

    Red + stencil card

Hey everyone, today’s card uses something new for me to try, a stencil.  And I loved it, I used distress ink and a blending tool and it is so easy to create a quick, vibrant background.  I added some ink splatters, made my own (slightly wonky) tags and die cut some little stars instead of sequins.  I can’t wait to get some more stencils and play a bit more.   I am entering this card into a number of challenges: simon says stamp Flickr challenge #48 – Stencil Simon says stamp Monday challenge – red, white and/or blue Inkspirational challenge #112 – just add red Please let me know what…

I had a beautiful piece if Aztec/geometric black card and my MFT Pretty Posies stamp set was also on my craft table so I decided to see if I could combine both. Starting with a light green card base I stamped an outline flower with hero arts black India ink all over. Then I stamped the centres with versamark, a sticky ink, poured over gold embossing powder and heat embossed. Because the outline flowers were still slightly tacky in places the embossing powder stuck only in some places, which was the plan, honest, and so you get a…

    Grand Greetings

A while back I was very pleased to receive the fabulous Grand Greetings stamp set by My Favorite Things from a lovely friend I met through Instagram, Andreea Raghina.  You must check her out, she makes the most beautiful cards. Unfortunately I didn’t have a big enough acrylic block but after scouring the Internet I finally bought the fiskars stamp press on sale from Create and Craft *yay*.  And then I could have fun. I started by trying to make a masculine card.  I personally find these really difficult but this stamp set makes it so easy.  I dug out my new to me paper pack by Pink Fresh Studio…
