Thanks for visiting my blog today.
I have a really cute shaker baby card for you. I used Winnie and Walter Audrey’s Cutaway scallop rectangle die, Winnie and Walter baby word die and the sentiment is also by W&W. The gorgeous patterned paper is by Crate Paper called Little You.
I am entering this into the following challenges:
Addicted to Stamps and More challenge 246
HLS June Anything Goes with Dies
Creatalicious Challenge 117 – Anything goes with optional twist of Dies
Crazy Hazelnuts Patterned Paper challenge
As some of you will know it’s the current MFT superstar challenge 2016 and I have been watching, increasingly intimidated, all the fabulous entries – you should go check them out. There are so many talented people.
I only have a couple of MFT stamps but I wanted to join in so here’s my first card. Nowhere near the amazingness of everyone else I know but still wanted to share.
I used the peek-a-boo circle dienamic with the forest friends stamp set.

Currently the lawnscaping challenge is to use patterns.
For my entry, I dug out my lawn fawn lets polka paper pad and lawn fawn get well soon stamp set and made a fun shaker card. I used the MFT peek-a-boo die to create my circle opening and stamped the images with memento tuxedo black ink.
I’ve never made a graduation card before, and really I had no idea where to start. I knew the card was for a lady who had just finished teacher training. Where to begin? I rummaged through my stamp sets for ages and then thought about digital stamps. This is a new field for me but I often see lots of lovely cards on Instagram using Gerda Steiner stamps so I had a look there and found a really cute owl, and it was on sale for free. I’m not sure how long it will be on offer for but here’s the link go check it out!
I printed it off, fussy cut it out and then coloured it in with copics.
Next I turned to my card base and pulled out my lawn fawn let’s polka paper – isn’t this teal heart paper so pretty? I used my MFT peekaboo dienamic to make a window, stamped a woo hoo sentiment in charcoal ink on the card base, added sequins and acetate, stuck it down and had a flat shaker window. I didn’t want extra bulk on this card so I just used normal double sided tape so it doesn’t really shake as such but I still love the look of all those sequins.
All I had to do then was add some strips of patterned paper, my sentiment and some more sequins and assemble the card. I added a wink of Stella over my owl and sentiment for a little shimmer. Would love to hear from you, the comments box is at the bottom of the post, thanks, hope you have a great day!
I am linking this up to the Gerda Steiner ‘your designs’ challenge section.
