Anniversary card by Rachel Vass using Winnie and Walter Addies Garden

Pink and grey ink smooshing colour combo

Winnie and Walter

Hi

I made this card a few days ago, with the intention of sharing it with you straight away and then life got in the way of blogging.  Does that happen to you to?  Lol.

I was still thinking about the current colour combo challenge set by Heather H over on the Winnie and Walter Blog and so I based my card around a pink and grey colour theme.

I ink smooshed distress inks spun sugar and picked raspberry along with a dark grey ink onto bockingford watercolour paper.  I then die cut a circle of the smooshed background with a Simon Says Stamp stitched circle die.  I used hero arts charcoal ink to stamp my sentiment, flowers and leaves and then I copic coloured some of my images. The images are from Winnie and Walters In Bloom:Addies Garden set which I have been loving lately.  A few sentiments glued with multi medium matte finish it all off.

Winnie and Walter Mood Board Challenge

Winnie and Walter

Hey

I hope you are well.  Can you believe it’s nearly the end of March already and now officially spring? Yay.

Todays card is based on the Mood Board from Winnie and Walter that I mentioned in my last post, it certainly makes me think of spring, but then as you know I do love pink colours.

Heres the Board:

and here’s my card:

I smoothed picked raspberry distress ink and blended hero arts soft yellow ink onto white cardstock to use for my die cut pieces (still trying to remember the make of these). I stamped a leaf image from Winnie and Walters Addie Gardens set with fog grey Simon Says Stamp ink onto white card and created my own patterned paper.  The sentiment stamped in hero arts charcoal ink is by Clearly Besotted.

Cute Shaker Baby Card

Winnie and Walter

Good morning! I wont go as far as to say Happy Monday – personally I’m tired and the week hasn’t started yet, lol.

Todays card uses cute animals from Winnie and Walter and some patterned paper by Pebbles.  This is my last card for the current Winnie and Walter challenges this past month.  I can’t believe how many great cards I’ve made with just three stamp sets! I’ve really had a great month.

Ink Smooshing with distress inks

Winnie and Walter

Hiya.  Hope your having a lovely day.

Here is the card –Ink smooshing card by Rachel Vass using Winnie and Walter Addies Garden setTodays card features ink smooshing with distress inks.  I used cracked pistachio, spun sugar and picked raspberry.  I rubbed the ink cubes on to a piece of acetate, sprayed with clean water and then ‘smooshed’ the acetate onto watercolour paper.  I kept adding and moving colour until I was happy.  I created two panels, one for the base piece and the other I stamped floral images from Winnie and Walter Addies Garden and then cut out by hand.  I used my mini Misti and a sentiment from clearly besotted to finish the card, along with some black ink splatters and sequins.

Its pouring with rain here and dark and grey so please excuse the poor light in the photos.
