Simple watercoloured flower card

simon says stamp, watercolour

Today I made a very very simple watercoloured card using distress inks.  It only took me about 20 minutes but I love the simplicity of it, and no black outlines.  I used my mini misti to stamp the sentiment using navy ink by hero arts.  The misti is proving invaluable for stamping straight and I love being able to double stamp on my textured card and still get a crisp sentiment.  When it was dry and added a quick layer of Wink of Stella, I love the subtle shimmer it gives. The flower is from the Simon Says Stamp Spring Flowers set and the sentiment is from the Neat and Tangled Scandinavian Prints set.
