    Hydrangeas shaker card

Hi my friends I created a 5″shaker card today with lots and lots of sequins and beads to shake about. I used Sss square die to create a frame and an inner rectangle and used waterproof black memento ink and stamped flowers and leaves from Winnie and Walter Addies Gardens so that the flowers where on the rectangle and the frame. Next I watercoloured the inner flowers with zig clean colour markers and when dry added some extra interest with a white gel pen. After turning it into a shaker card I attached it to a square card base and stamped the sentiment from Winnie and Walter sending you set.…

    Hello Shaker Card

Hi my friends, I spent a pleasurable hour grappling with this card and learning from multiple mistakes 🙊🤣, hopefully the next time will be much easier. I knew I wanted to turn the Home die by Winnie and Walter into a shaker word and I think I tried every way possible to get it sealed properly so that those beads don’t go everywhere, lol. I must have been tired the day I made this because it really is a simple technique. I did lots of diecutting of the home die – multiple times with stick it adhesive sheets and fun foam and then cutting up tiny bits of acetate and…

Shaker Home card with patterned paper

Hey everyone Can you believe it’s been four years already that Winnie and Walter have been on the go! To help them celebrate I am joining in with the current challenges. (For some reason I can’t save the challenge image 😕) Today’s card uses the great W&W new home die. The font is perfect for die cutting and layering up for dimension. I cut it out of four different pieces of scrap patterned paper I had lying around, four pieces of fun foam and adhered it all together along with some seed beads to make shaker dies cuts – I love these. I used the scallop rectangle from W&W Audrey’s…

    Forest Friends Shaker Card

Hey everyone, I made this card late last night and posted it on Instagram but just now getting round to blogging about it.  I had a couple of challenges in mind and will link to them below. Here’s the card: I coloured the cute deer with my copics E35 E37 for the dailymarker30 day challenge and this provided the basis for the card. I used the trees from the same set and stamped them onto my base card and then created my shaker panel by die cutting a circle with the peek-a-boo die and adding some clear acetate. I used 3D double sided foam to raise the panel off the…
