    Clearly besotted floral CAS card

    Hiya Todays card is a very CAS card using a gorgeous bouquet of flowers by Clearly Besotted. I heat embossed these on vellum, fussy cut out and coloured the back with copics.  Next I took a side folding pink cardbase, painted the centre with gansai tambi white pearl I see paint with a minimum amount of water so that it wouldn’t warp.  I added some white and green paint splatters.  Next I heat embossed a congratulations sentiment on black cardstock and adhered everything together.  Voila!     Altenew June Challenge wedding card

    As soon as I read about the Altenew June challenge it spoke to me, and I just made my card in time. Here is the inspiration photo: And here is my card: I first of all used my Misti to stamp my sentiment so that I could ensure a crisp black image.  Then I stamped the painted flowers in hero arts soft yellow ink – although it’s difficult to photo I used the same colour for the second layer too but I stamped it three times so that there is a darker inside but yet the whole look remains soft.  I stamped the leaves with hero arts green hills ink…

    Vellum and Shimmer challenges

    Hey everyone, you know I love the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge and this week it’s Add Some Shimmer.  The card below is my entry. I am also entering this into a blog named hero challenge on vellum. I stamped flowers and leaves from MFT pretty posies set onto vellum with my Hero Arts Black India Ink, quickly coloured them with my copics and fussy cut them out.  This hero arts ink is great on vellum, it doesn’t take long to dry and still looks crisp and black.  I used the MFT peekaboo circle to cut an opening into my top card panel and then glued my flowers around the…
