The Flower Challenge May – Vellum or Acetate

Can you believe we are in May already??? It’s starting to fell like spring here in Scotland, yay. I was inspired by all the flowers beginning to shoot up for this months card for The Flower Challenge. To start I cut a piece of cold pressed watercolour card to 3” x 6” and also made a custom size cardbase (still to make the envelope). I used ranger archival black ink, which is waterproof, and a little bit of masking to create my scene with a Bloom from Altenew Golden Garden set. This is my go to floral set, I’ve def have my moneys worth with this one for a change.…

Hand in hand with Pretty Pink Posh

Hiya A lovely Instagram friend @tesstimony_cards sent me a cute couple of images by Pretty Pink Posh (Summer Friends set) to colour. I’m embarrassed to say I’ve had these for about a year!  I recently made a few simple watercolour backgrounds with my peerless watercolours to have on hand ‘just in case’. This one with its sandy beach immediately reminded me of this cute boy and girl.  I coloured them simply with Copic markers and added them with 3d foam.  Next I used a memory box die and added some hearts in different sizes and added some wink of stella for a little sparkle. Pinkfresh Studio Be Filled with Hope

Hiya I love pinkfresh studio products (wish I could get them easier in the uk), and today I was playing with the Walk In Faith Stamp set. The beautiful flowers and the heat embossed sentiment are from the same stamp set. I added my watercoloured panel, with a strip of black cardstock to a side folding cardbase and added the sentiment with 3d foam squares for dimension. Please let me know what you think. I have entered this card into the following challenges: Pinkfresh studio March challenge Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – Floral Frenzy HLS March Watercolor Challenge – Anything Goes

Life is better with a friend like you

Hey my friends Hope you are having a good week? I love the sentiment on this card, it’s by a new to me company, Reverse Confetti. It’s a very CAS card to make – watercolour a gradient blue background, die cut and also die cut a frame. I stamped the sentiment with ranger archival black ink using a mini Misti so I could get a crisp impression on the textured watercolour piece. Assembled on to a side folding blue cardbase. This card is entered into the following challenges: HLS Watercolor Challenge– Anything Goes HLS March – Anything goes with Dies Papercraft Business Challenge cards4galz – beach/nautical Papercraft challenge #7 sentiment…
