    The Flower Challenge June 2018

Hi everyone Can’t believe another month has passed us by already! For the Flower Challenge this month the theme is to use a previous challenge. You have loads of options including: CAS, Vellum/Acetate, Use your favourite flower, embossing and many more. I chose the theme from the 2nd challenge which was “Occasion”.  Wedding season is upon us and so I thought a card that could be used for a wedding or celebration would be perfect for my card stash. If you are a regular follower of mine you know I am in love with Pinkfresh Studio products at the moment. I gold heat embossed this beautiful floral arrangement and coloured…

    Just Because watercolour card

Hi my friends I was thrilled to get my hands on some new Pinkfresh Studio goodies. I used my mini Misti and black archival ink to stamp on watercolour cardstock and then spun my card in my Misti 180° for the second image perfectly placed upside down. (I actually made two so a second version will be coming up soon) Next I coloured it using my peerless watercolours.  Once dried I added my sentiment, also by Pinkfresh Studio. Products used: (affiliate links may be used) Always Flowers stamp set, Bird with Flowers stamp set, mini misti, peerless Watercolor bonus pack I am entering this into the following challenges: Freshly made sketches 334 Simon…

Pinkfresh Studio Be Filled with Hope

Hiya I love pinkfresh studio products (wish I could get them easier in the uk), and today I was playing with the Walk In Faith Stamp set. The beautiful flowers and the heat embossed sentiment are from the same stamp set. I added my watercoloured panel, with a strip of black cardstock to a side folding cardbase and added the sentiment with 3d foam squares for dimension. Please let me know what you think. I have entered this card into the following challenges: Pinkfresh studio March challenge Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – Floral Frenzy HLS March Watercolor Challenge – Anything Goes

Life is better with a friend like you

Hey my friends Hope you are having a good week? I love the sentiment on this card, it’s by a new to me company, Reverse Confetti. It’s a very CAS card to make – watercolour a gradient blue background, die cut and also die cut a frame. I stamped the sentiment with ranger archival black ink using a mini Misti so I could get a crisp impression on the textured watercolour piece. Assembled on to a side folding blue cardbase. This card is entered into the following challenges: HLS Watercolor Challenge– Anything Goes HLS March – Anything goes with Dies Papercraft Business Challenge cards4galz – beach/nautical Papercraft challenge #7 sentiment…

    Freehand watercolour roses

Hey everyone, Today’s card really pushed me outside of my comfort zone. I watercoloured some roses freehand in pretty pink tones using my gansai tambi paints. Once dried I used the pretty scallop rectangle  by Winnie and Walter which really helped to smooth out some of the warping on the watercolour paper. The sentiment is one of my go to  happy anniversary sentiments by Mama Elephant.   I had an accident with my enamel dots (oops) so had to add loads to cover up and try and make the piece look balanced. I am entering this card into the following challenges: HLS JULY watercolour challenge Moving along with the times…
