Apologies, hope your not overwhelmed with all the posts this week, there are just so many great challenges for world card making day that my mind is buzzing with ideas.
One of the winnie and walter WCMD challenges is by Kelly and we are challenged to make anything but a card. I loved her post and definitely plan to try and get in my loft to get my vinyl out but until then here is a cute baby gift tag. I think personalising packaging is such a quick but thoughtful addition. If your card is pretty, a matching gift tag takes it to another level.
I copic coloured the adorable bunny from the Winnie and Walter Welcome to the Family stamp set and attached it along with a sentiment from the same set to a tag die cut from Winnie and Walter Audrey Cutaways set. I used patterned paper for the front and back of the tag from Crate Paper Little you paper pad.
Hi everyone, thanks for visiting.
Today I have two cards for you. I used patterned paper from the same collection by American Crafts (dear lizzy lovely day), foam mounted onto side folding A6 (Uk size) card bases.
I ink smooshed rainbow colours of distress inks onto card and once dry I white heat embossed blooms from Winnie and Walters Addies garden on top. Next I fussy cut these out without a border. I assembled them some flat and one mounted with 3D foam for dimension. Some lawn Fawn twine and a charcoal grey sentiment by Mama Elephant and white nuvo drops complete these.
I am entering these cards into the following challenges:
WW WCMD variations with Shay
WW WCMD Smooshing Challenge with Lydia
WWWCMD Rainbow Challenge with Lea
Simon Says Stamp Happy World Card making day
This card combines gorgeous soft distress ink Smooshing (picked raspberry and cracked pistachio) on watercolour paper die cut with Winnie and scallop rectangle die. I love the little dot details around the edges.
Next I white heat embossed the bouquet of flowers from Altenew celebrations stamp set and copic coloured the back. The waffle flower sentiment is also heat embossed. A bit of ribbon and some nuvo dots finish this card off.
I just love this colour combo.
This card is for the following challenges:
WCMD WW smooshing with Lydia
WCMD Simon Says Stamp
This Card is for the current Winnie and Walter world card making day challenges
This card is for the stencil challenge set by Kate
I used a leaf stencil by Winnie and Walter with distress inks for a soft background die cut with gorgeous Winnie and Walter scallop rectangle die and then I added a bloom and leaves from Addies garden (also by W&W). I need a lot of get well soon cards at the moment unfortunately so I used a sentiment by Waffle Flower.
Hope you like the card.
I am also entering this card into the following challenges:
simon Says Stamp world card making day
wow I haven’t made a card in ages, a rambuctious two year old and work had totally suppressed my creative juices…that is until I saw the challenges set by Winnie and Walter for world card making day 2017.
The first challenge I am entering has been set by Shay and is variations – you can find all the details here.
Here are my cards for this challenge:
I chose to use Nuvo glitter paste in gold and an iridescent shimmer with Winnie and Walter madison stencil on different backgrounds with flowers from Winnie and Walters Addies garden set and the same sentiment on each. Same design but a feminine and more masculine version.
I just love the shimmer on both cards from the paste.
Other challenges I am entering this card into:
W&W background making with Mayuri
W&W stencilled Challenge with Kate
Hi, thanks for visiting me today.
As I explained yesterday every month I really look forward to seeing what the colour combo is on the Winnie and Walter blog. I always find that it pushes me outside of my comfort zone, and this month is no exception. Here is the colour combo, where we encouraged to use at least three colours.
Here is my second entry:
I ink smooshed zig watercolours onto Bockingford Watercolor card, white heat embossed the gorgeous flower from Winnie and Walter Addies Garden, and die cut the scallop rectangle also by W&W which helped flatten any warping. The sentiment is by Altenew. Once it was all assembled I added some dark watercolour shadow to the flowers to make them pop a bit more, and some white Nuevo drops.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Winnie and Walter August colour combo
Simon Monday challenge : Stamp It
Simon Wednesday Challenge: Stamp It
