Happy Wednesday everyone! A day closer to the weekend, yay.
I can’t believe this is my 100th post!! Keep reading for giveaway details (now closed).
I have a beautiful new paper pad that I just couldn’t resist from American Crafts called Lovely Day. I have so much patterned paper and I hate cutting it up. Are you the same? Maybe there’s a support group I can join?
Anyway I did cut into a couple of the sheets for today’s card. I also watercoloured some bright spring flowers from the gorgeous Winnie and Walter Addies Garden. I ink blended a dark black circle to my card base and added some water splatters. I die cut a circle from my patterned paper and also die cut a circle frame and layered all my pieces together. A liberal hand with clear wink of Stella and some sequins finish this card. I am so longing for spring!!!
Isn’t the shimmer gorgeous?
I’m entering this card into the following challenges:
Winnie and Walter Mood Board with Heather P – I used the pink and yellows with the black splashes
Winnie and Walter Bright Colours Challenge with Lydia
Simon Monday Challenge: Favourite Tool – my pentel aqua brush for watercolouring
